He shall assume full responsibility for their safekeeping and undertakes to use them with care in all circumstances. The lessee acknowledges having received the rented equipment in good working order and declares that they have had full opportunity to check the equipment themselves.<\/p>\n<p>Article 3 \u2013 Use: The renter must be a natural person over the age of 18: minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult. For minors, the legal guardian agrees under these terms and conditions to assume all liability for any damage caused directly or indirectly by the minor as a result of the rental. The renter certifies that they have no knowledge of any medical contraindications to cycling and that they are fit to use the rented equipment, which they undertake to use themselves: lending or subletting is prohibited. The renter agrees to use the rented equipment without making any modifications, with care, under normal conditions, and to comply with the instructions for use and safety provided by the rental company: please note that bicycles are often damaged during transport or parking. The renter agrees to use the rented equipment with care, without endangering third parties, in accordance with the regulations in force: they are personally liable for any violations of the highway code, as well as for any bodily injury or property damage they may cause to third parties. When riding off-road, the renter agrees to ride safely and respectfully towards other users they may encounter (hikers, other cyclists, runners, horses, etc.). Panorama Outdoor always provides one helmet per bike: wearing a helmet when cycling is mandatory for children under 12 (AR 431-1-3 of the Highway Code) and strongly recommended for all users, whether on roads or trails. For electric bike rentals, the renter is informed of the battery&#8217;s range upon departure and cannot hold the rental company responsible for poor battery management.<\/p>\n<p>Article 4 \u2013 Liability for damage \u2013 Theft: The lessee releases the lessor from any liability arising from the use of the rented equipment, in particular with regard to the physical and intangible consequences of accidents of any kind. The lessee declares that he\/she holds personal civil liability insurance covering liability incurred during the use of the rented equipment. The tenant is personally liable and is not covered by any insurance for damage, breakage, theft, loss, or disappearance (please note that the use of a padlock does not provide absolute security against theft). Lost, missing, stolen, or broken equipment will be billed based on the following conditions: equipment from the current year, 100% of the purchase price including tax. A depreciation allowance of 20% will be deducted from this reimbursement amount for each year of age of the equipment. The tenant agrees to pay repair costs for all materials, equipment, and accessories that cannot be repaired. Compensation will be based on the replacement price.<\/p>\n<p>Article 5 \u2013 Payment \u2013 method of payment: the entire amount must be paid when the equipment is picked up by the renter. We accept cash and credit cards as payment methods.<\/p>\n<p>Article 6 \u2013 Deposit: when the equipment is made available, tenants are asked to provide a credit card imprint and\/or proof of identity. This deposit will not be cashed during the rental period. It is agreed that the amount of the deposit shall in no case constitute a limit on liability, and the lessor shall retain the right, where applicable, to pursue the lessee in order to obtain full compensation for its loss.<\/p>\n<p>Article 7 \u2013 Payment \u2013 method of payment: the entire amount must be paid when the equipment is picked up by the renter.
