A large loft above the living room with two 80x200 cm beds. It can be screened off with curtains.

Aureille, a charming, family-friendly village

From the cottage, you can walk or use one of the two shuttle bikes we provide to head down to the heart of the village of Aureille (400 m). You’ll discover a beautiful village that the locals love to share. All the essential shops are there: a superb grocery store with fresh, local fruits and vegetables, a very good butcher shop, a family-friendly bar, a restaurant, and a lovely bakery. All around the village are beautiful trails to explore year-round.

Near the house

The house is in a great spot for exploring the area: we’re happy to give you tips for your stay. Here are a few ideas: Take a stroll through the Camargue Natural Park with its white horses and flamingos (30 minutes), visit the Roman ruins in the cities of Arles (20 minutes) or Nîmes (40 minutes), discover Fontaine de Vaucluse, the hilltop village of Gordes, and the ochre cliffs of Roussillon, or treat yourself to a boat tour of the Calanques of Marseille.

The Alpilles, a remarkable environment

The house enjoys a privileged location with a remarkable view of the Alpilles mountains. There are many walks and bike rides to enjoy. The Civadière climbing site is 500m away. Les Baux de Provence, Saint-Remy de Provence, Maussane, Eygalières… come and visit the pretty villages of the Alpilles and discover their vineyards, olive groves, Roman ruins…
